Terms of Service

Effective October 4, 2026. Version 2026-10-04. These Terms govern 1Kassir software and its website, account, licensing, and control-plane services at 1kassir.com. The product is provided under the 1Kassir brand. Save a copy for your records.

1. Product and scope

1Kassir is desktop point-of-sale and store-management software for Windows, Linux, and macOS, with local workflows for products, sales, returns, cash sessions, purchases, inventory, expenses, and reports. Available features depend on the plan, valid entitlements, software version, and compatible hardware. Review plan and download information before choosing the product.

Cloud services manage accounts, authentication, devices, licenses, and subscriptions. Operational retail records remain in Store Desktop, rather than a cloud retail database. 1Kassir does not provide legal, accounting, tax, or fiscal advice. You must determine whether your configuration, receipts, records, and hardware satisfy requirements applicable to your business.

2. Accounts and security

You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement and authority to act for your business. Provide accurate information, protect passwords and recovery material, and restrict employee access appropriately. Do not share credentials with unauthorized people. Review sessions and devices, revoke unwanted access, and promptly address suspected compromise. Email verification is required for Desktop authorization and billing access.

3. Software license and activation

Subject to these Terms and your entitlement, you receive a limited, non-exclusive license to install and use 1Kassir for lawful retail operations on authorized devices. Ownership of the software, trademarks, and intellectual property is not transferred. Third-party components retain their applicable licenses. Do not distribute unauthorized copies, resell access without permission, bypass licensing or access controls, or reverse engineer except where applicable law permits.

Device activation connects an authorized computer to your account. Offline access uses locally protected, device-scoped, time-limited entitlement information and remains subject to its validity; it does not promise unlimited use without license refresh. Account verification, activation, entitlement refresh, and cloud functions need internet access.

4. Subscriptions, prices, and trials

Paid plans use monthly or annual recurring subscriptions. Pricing identifies each interval and the full annual total. An annual monthly equivalent is a comparison figure, not monthly installments. The order confirmation identifies the actual amount, currency, applicable taxes, and renewal terms. Plan changes do not silently rewrite completed charges.

Purchases are currently unavailable on this production website. Account creation does not create a paid subscription. No automatic free trial is currently offered here. Trial availability, eligibility, duration, card requirements, and included plan are configurable; where a trial is offered, its conditions are disclosed before activation. Registration alone does not start a trial. A cardless trial does not authorize a charge.

5. Paddle orders

For orders processed through Paddle, the following reseller disclosure applies:

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paddle orders also follow the Paddle Buyer Terms and applicable payment and refund procedures. Paddle processes payment information; 1Kassir does not directly process or store raw card details. This disclosure does not mean paid checkout is currently available. 1Kassir remains responsible for its software and product support.

6. Renewal, cancellation, and refunds

A purchased recurring subscription renews for the selected monthly or annual interval unless canceled under its order terms. Cancel through the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt or Paddle buyer support before renewal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the current billing period's end and stops future renewal charges. Uninstalling, ceasing use, or revoking a device does not cancel billing.

Cancellation is separate from a refund request. The Refund Policy explains refund requests, withdrawal rights, and product issues. Mandatory consumer rights remain intact. These Terms do not offer a general 30-day money-back guarantee.

7. Local records, backups, and migration

You control your store records and are responsible for lawful collection of customer and employee information and access to your computers. The local database and backup packages use encryption; encryption does not replace device security or protect information exposed through an unlocked account or compromised computer.

Create and verify backups, protect recovery passphrases, and retain recoverable copies outside the original computer. Rotation and multiple backup destinations depend on the plan. Destinations you select, including synchronized folders, are under your control and may be processed by their providers. 1Kassir does not host these files in an operated cloud backup service.

Device migration uses an encrypted backup or migration package, recovery material, and destination device authorization. Verify restoration before retiring the original device. Lost recovery material, damaged files, or unavailable media may prevent recovery. Expiry or downgrade does not delete local store records; some features become read-only or unavailable, while core data-protection functions remain available under the entitlement policy.

8. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully. Do not infringe rights, introduce malicious code, interfere with services, access another account or store without authorization, evade licensing or security controls, automate abusive requests, or use the product to falsify or conceal unlawful transactions. Obtain permissions needed for information you enter or share.

9. Availability and changes

Cloud services, activation, and updates may be interrupted by maintenance, provider outages, network failures, or security incidents. Local operation depends on device health, local access, and valid entitlements. No uninterrupted-service guarantee or support response-time commitment is made here. Install supported updates, check release requirements, and maintain backups before upgrades. Software and services may change, subject to purchased entitlements, order terms, and mandatory law.

10. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, security abuse, unlawful use, payment-related entitlement changes, or legal requirements. Where appropriate and practicable, notice and an opportunity to address a breach will be provided. You may stop using the service, but must separately cancel paid renewal. Keep backups and exports before removing software or closing access. Termination does not erase accrued obligations or rights and does not authorize silent deletion of completed local financial records.

11. Responsibility and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is supplied without a guarantee that it meets every business requirement or operates without errors. Verify calculations, reports, backups, and operational suitability. To that same extent, 1Kassir is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by unavailable recovery material, unverified backups, unauthorized access attributable to your failure to protect credentials or devices, or systems outside its control.

These limits do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer remedies, fraud, and other non-excludable responsibilities. Applicable law and competent courts determine rights not addressed here; these Terms do not impose a particular jurisdiction or remove mandatory rights in your country.

12. Privacy, support, and policy changes

The Privacy Policy explains account and local-data handling. See Support for product guidance and Contact for available routes. Paddle payment, cancellation, and refund inquiries go through your receipt or Paddle buyer support.

Updates carry a new effective date and version. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another available account channel as appropriate; renewed acceptance will be requested where required. Historical acceptance evidence is preserved. Publication of new Terms does not rewrite earlier acceptance or override rights attached to earlier purchases.
